this year, the 2 girls at the top of this competition for a trip to europe shouldn’t, in my opinion, be given the chance to go as much as this girl (currently in 3rd place). the second place contender has already been to europe, and the one in first place is just taking it as a joke. i know this would mean everything to this girl and she sounds so genuinely serious about such an opportunity.

please spread the word. you’re going to vote via your facebook account (so you can post it on your wall if you’d like and have everyone else vote, too) and you can vote once a day until may 17th, i think.

THE RULES
if you want to be a part of the project, here are the qualifications:

you MUST be 18 years or older. 
the person who kept the notebook was 16 years old. i tried to be nice and give people the benefit of the doubt, but that just ended up badly. i’m sorry, but sometimes being a child means immaturity hasn’t outgrown you yet. if you want to be involved with the next project and get in touch with me, i will RIGOROUSLY look through every piece of information i can find on you to make sure you’re of age. it’s just that serious. IF I BELIEVE IN ANY WAY YOU’RE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THIS, you will not be allowed to participate. no more little nice girl. 

YOU MUST BE WILLING TO GIVE UP THE NOTEBOOK TO THE NEXT PERSON!!!!!
seriously. i thought this was already implied. if you’re a selfish person and too greedy to let go of something you didn’t even have a day before, don’t participate. it’s that easy!! are there no decent human beings left in the world today?!?

all of my messages from my personal tumblr go directly to my phone, hence faster approval for you. if you message me on this tumblr (notebookstory) you will not be considered. sorry. once i have all the participants ready, we will get in touch with each other through this tumblr and through the facebook page (see link to the right).

everyone involved will have to scan the pages they worked on
and post them here, on this tumblr before sending the notebook to the next person. you can easily take a picture and submit it from your phone. you can use a scanner from your house/a friend’s house/library/your school. you can use a good old fashioned camera. if you don’t have time to do that then you’re just not dedicated enough to be a part of this project. i can’t stand the thought that the pages everyone has worked on who was involved in the last project will never see them again. and by the way, i’m really, really sorry that had to happen! this is one of those rules i can’t actually force people to do because once the book is out of my hands, it’s out of my control. but being the good person that i am, i have faith in the people i choose for this next project to enforce this for themselves. so that if another asshole decides to keep the notebook, at least your piece will still be up online for everyone to see. submit your contributions here before sending the book to the next person. grazie.
